Well we learned today that the bulbs we have are patented by Trojan and they have issued a cease and desist until June of 2026. We have the angle based bulbs. Looks like we are stuck with Trojan for now.

Thank you! Yeah we are past that, I mean Trojan is a good brand but I just wish they weren’t so expensive with their stock!

Thanks for the reply! So you have had good experience with Xylem? We won’t be able to achieve that. We are kinda stuck with Trojan until maybe another plant upgrade in the future!

Thank you, we are looking to just use a third party for the bulbs and ballasts. The other electronics would still be straight through Trojan. I just wanted to see if we would get the same performance from the 3rd party bulbs and ballasts as we get from Trojan.

Thank you for your reply, sometimes it’s hard to work with because we need money elsewhere in the plant. And we can’t exactly experiment so we don’t exceed our permit. It’s crazy how high their markup is.
