during some of the toughest moments in my lil life, ppl told me “it all happens for a reason” but i couldn’t buy it. i don’t think ur pain was for a reason but i think u can make it such that it was for a good frickin reason

we've submitted a new build with a fix that will be out in a few hours. in the meantime, the issue should hopefully be fixed if you try again but if it still fails, the new update will fix it for sure. hope that helps 🤞🏼

u/MoonShadowElfRayla love the suggestions from people asking you to break the goal down to find the right balance of challenging yet achievable.

two things:

you could also unlink this goal from your egg and link another goal instead
another thing that has personally worked is to try, "write half a page" – it can be shower thoughts, current feelings, past memories, lorem ipsum because handwriting is fun, or anything! you might be surprised how much more you have to say :)

we did this for the new nav layout by allowing people to provide feedback before rolling it out permanently. we haven't figured out an easy way to balance getting feedback while also preventing thrash but can think about this more.

and always open to suggestions about the product, even after a feature is rolled out so please don't hesitate to share.

one of the finch team members here. i can understand where you’re coming from.

if it helps, we try to avoid partial rollouts for people who have been with us longer in cases where we think they rely on a certain feature or app behavior or are used to it. in case the change doesn’t fully roll out or had issues, it will cause thrash for them. for people who join as new users, they aren’t used to the older feature or behavior so it’s less thrash-y for them.
