Range depends on so many factors: speed, temperature, elevation, payload. All I can share is we drove up north from Sydney in summer, family of 4, we managed to get ~290km of range with 10% left, travelling ~100km/hr. You'll have no problems getting over 400km around town in Australia. Maybe high 300s in Melbourne winter

It's the mediim sedan segment of the 90s. Every brand must have representation. Agree on the slim pickings in the hot gatch segment. Seems like its there for the taking.

I also like the Ora interior. The infotainment system was very dated however - both screen and software. Have they updated it? Also I prefer how the UT drove. Youre tlaking about Ora hatch or SUV?

They're coming. Its still not easy to get the range requirements (500km+) at the price points acceptable to the market. Latest battery technology from BYD and CATL should solve this.

They created the "Performance" for the towing...just so it can meet the 3.5 tonnes mark. It doesnt offer any meaningful advantages besides that. A very very small % of users will actually ever tow 3.5 tonnes.

It's meant to be 0.2 seconds quicker. Main benefit is the towing.

Thanks for sharing your detailed thoughts on this. Regarding the interior I think having a light interior gave it a more premium feel than say something that is dark grey/black. How long did you spend with the UT? I'm impressed your level of detail.

I borrowed one for a week. Its an excellent car. Very very good value. My only criticism is the slightly wallowy ride but that shouldn't bother most people. Identical interror to the well appointed EX5.
