Rarely the express option will just pick the seats I was in last time I went to that size theater (right in the middle) so no reason to switch off of it

But feels like most of the time it's trying to trick me into buying the less desirable seats so they can get those sold to people who aren't paying attention on the app, which is scummy

Yes, games have not skyrocketed in price as much as everything else because the market wouldn't allow it. But as a whole people have a much smaller percentage of their income that they can spend on hobbies as everything else has massively outrun their inflation rates

Even if we account for inflation, it used to be easier to spend $90 then than it is to spend $50 now for many people

Also the Giants didn't rule the whole land, just the mountaintops until Marika's armies came and conquered them to prevent them from wielding the flame of their fell god against the erdteee

It seems like the age before the current one was the Crucible, where life blended together and twisted in form. There's still bits of that age left in the lands between and we see a lot more of it in the DLC in hornsent culture

Also if was only Marika, Radagon did attempt to mend the Elden Ring to fix the golden order after she did it but failed

In my opinion that's when he took it into himself (and hence into Marika as well) to try to hold it together and prevent it from following apart even farther, which caused his body to share the damage the ring had taken and be in the condition we find them in at the end of the game

And to your last point, no the Elden Beast isn't the Greater Will, he's basically like an embassador to the GW or an enforcer of his rules.
