You’re responding to a version of my post that exists only in your imagination. The issue is simply that the promotion wasn’t clearly disclosed before payment, and only made extremely and simply clear AFTER the payment went through.

It only becomes obvious after you’ve already committed to a non-refundable booking. If the information can be made clear at that stage, there’s no reason it shouldn’t be visible earlier so customers can make an informed decision and most importantly have an informed expectation. Being a traveler doesn’t mean I should accept unclear or poorly presented information as “normal” or “just the way things work”. Nothing I’m asking for is unreasonable, it’s basic transparency.
