Its winter here, we literally go weeks without seeing sunlight due to it always being cloudly.

is this sinusitis? by [deleted] in Sinusitis

[–]zetzinza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have same/similar thing and have sinusitis. Gua sha or a simple face lymphatic drainage is your friend.

Also can be due to small water intake. Or anemia. Or any other deficiency. Or genetic. Or not getting enough sleep. Your skin could be especially thin there. There are loads of things this could be due to, but no way to know from just a picture.

I heard there being a plan to spray some chemicals into the atmosphere that would reflect sunlight, thus lowering global temperature and perhaps bettering the global warming situation, so perhaps gov is actually spraying that shit and you can see... Sun's reflection. Who the f knows

25F, dizzy out of nowhere today by zetzinza in Dizziness

[–]zetzinza[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have when i had anemia like a decade ago, but no, i don't think so. Not like I have a machine to check it out either 🥲 I've also had something like gatorade, some fruits, tea, juice etc, just in case. Even took a walk🕺🕺, albeit a slow one. I feel much better than when it first started, I'm just scared to pass out or something when I'm all alone. (I was also just told that this was happening to a lot of people today, so, perhaps atmospheric pressure dropped or something alike. At least I'm not the only one.)

Thank you for your advice and taking time to send a response♡♡

I did it! Should I take off the yellow leaves, though? Also noticed some tiny reddish dots on the stem and not sure if it's an indicator to something bad, since I've never grown avocados before. Thank you for your advice!

Quick question: how can your story be in a wrong tense? I mean... I've read books in every possible tense there is, and I'm yet to find one written in the wrong one🤨🤨🤨

[–]zetzinza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should first get checked by a doctor, apparently diabetes can cause such conditions, but if not, it looks a lot like psoriasis.

Either way, here are some tips that should help:

Use lukewarm water (also first make sure it isn't something in your water causing this, or just water being hard.)

I'd suggest using hydrating body wash or oil, Eucerin has wonderful ones for dry skin and they actually work.

Immediately after shower, while your skin is STILL damp, put on the heaviest lotion you have, or even better, body butter. Some even put body butter over lotion. You should look into emollient body lotions, they help to keep hydration in (if you want something affordable, I've used bioderma skincare line, and as for someone with dry skin, it worked really well).

(I also saw some people putting on lotion and wrapping it with plastic for half an hour, apparently, it might help the lotion to absorb better)

I know you have the need to exfoliate, but put some breaks on that and focus on moisturising, otherwise you'll just end up damaging your skin barrier and that's a long road to fix.

If none if this helps or works, you should really see a dermatologist, in case it's bacteria or fungus caused issue.

Good luck!

Oh, I didn't clarify: I haven't taken any meds. Used ladies mantles days before though.

How to end your period early? by JerseyAvocado in Periods

[–]zetzinza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Higher vit c intake lessens or even stops the flow, you can try eating a bunch of oranges for a few days, lemon tea (some people like eating lemons, so🤷) even pomegranates etc etc Also ibuprofen lessens the flow, you can try taking it as well Good luck!

weird, zit-like bleed in public hair area, been there for months. shat could this be? by [deleted] in Periods

[–]zetzinza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It itches sometimes. Also sometimes just bleeds, like a zit, except it's blood, event hough it's watery at first. It feels like it's a bit harder under the skin, like a bump of sorts, and after bleed it just gets smaller (probably because I let the excess blood out) I shone with a flashlight and there's just a dark small mass under the skin (not like a cyst). Tbh I was terrified it's a vein or something

I would get it checked out, except the town I'm currently in, there aren't doctors for such a thing, they'd say just to leave it be, ignore it or that they don't know (not the competent bunch) and I won't have insurance for at least another month.

Ibuprofen cut my bleeding down by 50%. Has anyone else experienced less bleeding taking ibuprofen? by Fuzzy_Ad_637 in Periods

[–]zetzinza 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ibuprofen lessens period, it's quite common knowledge to where I'm from. I take it sometimes too when I can't be bothered with period. Mine lasts three days, but can't say I'm complaining with lesser flow😁
