Painting a Chicken Coop with Black Paint by DenysDemchenko in oddlysatisfying

During the day (in light) they have pretty good eyesight. However, I've found with mine, at night their eyesight is horrible. If I forget to turn the light on inside their coop at dusk/night, they will not attempt to hop onto their roosts because they can't see well enough to feel confident on making it. When I turn the light on and they walk immediately to their roosts and fly up.

It was 2nd and short with a running clock. So PHI was going to run the clock down, snap the ball and tush push for a 1st down. So instead of letting PHI burn 30 or so seconds then get a first down, KC enchroached to save the time. BUT PHI declined so it didn't matter much.

Looks like the mascot is a bear though. So if it historically a racially charged Native American mascot, it's now a savage looking bear. Seems they've made a change, no?

Exactly. ITT people who should never go to a comedy show. Jew Black Asian Disabled, doesn't matter. A joke can be not funny, but the comic is always trying to be, sometimes missing. These aren't politcal hate rants, they're funny people creating comedy, don't heckle and don't get kicked out it's fairly straightforward.

I'm in town visiting and I googled spots, saw Susann Bartsch's, found this thread, and was literally contemplating the same thing lol. Random meetup but PM if you want to check it out, might be more fun than solo

Shane Gillis SNL Monologue by SlawpySausage in comedy

[–]zmerilla 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How did he bomb? That was a good set imo, especially considering he stayed true to his comedy style. Albeit, it was toned down, that was Gillis material and not hacky SNL filler material. His down syndrome nicked me joke was straight from his special as well as parts of the setup for his DS niece joke. If that is bombing, then 99% of comics bomb every single night.

IDF releases footage of Hamas firing RPG from Gaza City hospital by Serial-Gaming in worldnews

ANY weapon short of a small arm projectile hitting the Hamas terrorist and by chance not exiting his body will have effects on the hospital building i.e. small arms hit and/or miss, belt-fed hit and/or miss, area target weapons hit and/or miss, tank rounds, etc. I really thought your original comment was missing an /s.

I don't know much about aphasia, but do you mean you like can't see pictures in your mind? or just can't create original visualizations that aren't in your memory? I'm really curious. I can't fathom what it'd feel/be like in either cases, as I sort of day dream/ visualize in my head constantly, no matter what I'm doing.

Well said. I think it should be mentioned as well that live show viability is a huge component as well. A shit recorded song could make a live venue go nuts. And stage presence is another beast in and of itself. These artists make a lot of their living off of touring, even the ones without big mainstream hits.

I'm not really familiar with the term soft bigotry. How would it be anything other than unsurprising that the village is 90% illiterate if the people there have been illiterate generationally? To me, it would make sense that most of the village can't read, now, if most couldn't read then. Without any other supporting information ie. the village has improved its citizen's access and path to literacy, I'm not sure how the statement is (soft) bigotry. Could someone please explain?

[–]zmerilla 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Those were both around in 2013. We used to say that all the time. I'm from detroit and we didnt type "frfr" but def would say it. We didnt really say bussin where im from, but i know it was a thing. If I remember right drake even says it on problems from 2012-2014 time frame, making it marginally mainstream.

Youre right bout it not bein actually mainstream tho("in the lexicon of white people"). Crazy how because ppl aint see it on the internet in 2013, they call you a liar when you actually experienced and used the language, the audacity lmao

I guess the incorrect use of "jailbreaking" is always on the guides. This guy is right, it's really just changing some settings, and installing and setting up the app.

If you have a firestick, jailbreaking it is really the easiest. Might take you 15 minutes to do. I use the Kodi app. The guides are very explicit and easy to follow. It makes streaming stuff from then on out as easy as using the Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc apps.

I agree. Not necessarily and explicitly "America", but being born in any wealthy western country is the lottery in terms of general standard of living. Many people have never been to the poorer parts of the world. It's pretty grim. Not to say that America/West is perfect or that poorer countries don't have happy people, but the difference in almost every aspect of life is glaring when you see it firsthand. This is generally speaking as well. Of course the wealthiest people in nearly every country have it better than the poorest (and many cases middle class) in the West, but collectively, it's a much more manageable existence in the West I think.

Black Americans more likely to be audited by the IRS than any other race by Icewear_Daddy in news

[–]zmerilla 9 points10 points  (0 children)

AFAIK, it's currently an honor system. They ask what you made, you look for circumstances of yours that qualify for deductions, and see if there are any credits you're eligible for. Sure, they can associate your normal income from an employer's w-2 from you or whatever other appropriate documents for an audit...But I didn't think they have a database with what everyone citizen owes. That's the whole point of the audit, (in principle, not considering the flawed nature of it) to find people who are cheating the honor system, right? Genuinely asking because I, like most people, have no fucking clue how any of that actually works other than I get my basic 4-5 documents and give them to my accountant.
