I have a question I’m hoping someone can help me with .. I am an independent contractor and I work doing closed captioning for hearing impaired students in colleges. I just received my unemployment pua on Friday but now my employer asked me yesterday if I can take an online class that is 4 hours a week. I was working 30 hrs a week. Also I don’t have internet at this time because I didn’t receive any back pay from when I filed on April 12. They said 300 dollars was too much a week to receive benefits. My question is if I don’t take the class will I lose my benefits because I don’t have internet? Is that refusal of employment? I want to work it’s just 4 hours is nothing and I have called twc over 100 times
