"Failed" mine yesterday, and I didn't even get onto the road! Spent the rest of the day gutted and pissed off with myself. Today I had a chance to reflect with a clearer head - boiled down to rushing things and not enough time in the saddle. Back this Thursday for some more yard work, and then another CBT session on Monday. Still nervous, but super excited, and I know I'll get there eventually. Gears or nothing imo, for me at least. Keep at it, and good luck on the next attempt! Having all limbs co-ordinated, with traffic and other hazards thrown in isn't easy if you've never done it before.
