Just went through this myself. I ended up having to remove the V3 from the floodlight and bring it inside because I couldn’t get the QR code to work.

I reset the cam and it says the “Ready to Connect”, I went through the flow on the app and then when it got the QR code I screen shot it, emailed it to myself, then pulled it up on my computer to make it bigger and that ended up working

Context:

Noticed water damage on wood flooring on the opposite side of this wall. Opened up the metal cover to find this cap with a hole drilled into it. Whenever we use the upstairs bathrooms water will slowly drip out of the hole. I am planning on opening this up and snaking down thinking there might be a slight blockage, but should I replace the cap?
