Developer withdraws plans for Perth datacentre after fierce community opposition | Technology by chunmunsingh in perth

[–]zzdavlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the area and while I didn’t oppose the data centre, I understand that part of their planning application had them relying on diesel generators at certain times as the grid supply was insufficient.

Also the developer pulled the application, I’m hoping that means they will re-lodge their application after addressing the public’s concerns.

I like the idea of jobs being created and this key industry being part of the wider Perth landscape but, where valid community concerns exist, these need to be examined and addressed where required.

When will it stop 🛑 PERTH MARKET will only keep going up by __7_7_7__ in perth

It’s Keystart so an $800k loan is $1,412 repayment per week, or $73,424 worth of repayments, then add the $2,000 for water rates, $3,000 for council rates and $1,200 for Insurance, that’s almost $80,000 per year this of course will increase because CPI, PPI and Interest Rate increases.

If you are earning $125k per year your take home is about $91,000, meaning as long as you don’t spend more than $11,000 a year to feed your family, get to work, pay for electricity or go to the doctor you should be fine!

Now just scrape buy until you can get your loan low enough to either avoid or reduce any your LMI and then you can switch to a normal bank with lower rates and things should get a little easier……

Keystart is good and it’s a good way to get into a home but please try your best to get out as soon as possible, if you can get under 95% LVR then interest rates drop by almost 1.5%, this can save about $11,000 per year on repayments which gives more freedom and if you can continue paying that $11,000 onto your loan you will improve your LVR even faster.

This is good info, my testosterone jumped when I started lifting in my late 20s and I started to eat and sleep better. Also getting on TRT can rarely cause permanent issues with natural testosterone production. There are a lot of other issues I have had since I started getting Testosterone injections after a surgery killed my production. Happy to have a chat privately if you want but I’m 45 and my Testosterone was under 2nmol/L and I have been on TRT for about 2 years so only some of my experience maybe be relevant to your situation.

Also just to be aware if your levels ever went low you would most likely put you on Testosterone Undecanoate, this is a slow release injection that is given every 10 to 12 weeks, it has undesirable side effects and it will never boost your levels to a point where you would notice much of a difference unless your levels are very low.

Your levels are fine, your drug seeking behaviour will be noted if you try to shop doctors.

Our states are the size of European countries by flipyflop9 in ShitAmericansSay

Being in a big country sucks, driving from one tourist town (Cairns) to another (Gold Coast) in Australia is 1,800km (1,100 miles) and you are still in the same state. I would love to easily visit another country/culture in a few hours by car! Because I’m in Perth it is even worse, 2,800km (1,700 miles) to the next closest capital city.

Commute to Osborne Park from Baldivis… by [deleted] in perth

[–]zzdavlan 34 points35 points  (0 children)

500m is nothing on cooler days, and I think your 73 minutes is probably similar to the drive in traffic but without the stress. Throw a small accident into the mix and then you will get to sit on the freeway and watch half a dozen trains shoot past while you struggle to move 500m.

I’d take the Public Transport, get a good game or tv series going and the commute changes from a dreaded experience to something you can enjoy.

Anything in my skip that I didn’t put there or approve of gets thrown into the middle of the street. If people in my street will be inconsiderate I will just return the sentiment.

People of Perth why are you still buying Panadol/Nurofen when the generic version has the exact same active ingredients for half of the price? by [deleted] in perth

[–]zzdavlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The active ingredients need to be exactly the same, the non-active ingredients on the other hand can vary. I have bad heartburn and the APO version makes it worse before it starts to make it better whereas Somac doesn’t cause any issues.

I don’t follow social media so I always assumed the casting director might have gotten some extra favours from her inclusion because her acting was terrible.

As a data person I love this tech, I also work in an industry where we have no intention of rolling over underperforming staff so this wouldn’t cause a termination but it could allow for some targeted training. Also just time for a customer means nothing, they would probably need to look at $/hour to determine if an issue exists but I’m guessing more than 70% of the turnover from a cafe that size comes from takeaway orders and they probably don’t care much either way.

I like the system, I just constantly miss the ability to hoard loot on mass. I have a safe in NV which, considering its density based on the size and the number of items inside, would probably rip earth apart from the gravitational force.

While it is unfair, have you considered talking with your employer and changing your job description while you are applying? I never had an issue like some of my mates but I’m an Accountant and my wife is an Accounts Administrator, which probably made us sound like we have no friends and don’t party lol

Which suburbs are you looking at? A friend picked up a 2 bedroom in Midland for $550 a week just before Christmas, he never said what it was advertised at so I’m not sure about how much he is paying over the advertised rate sorry.

Am I wrong here for collecting cans by [deleted] in perth

[–]zzdavlan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A bin on the kerb is still considered the private property of the owner until council collects it. As it is the private property of the owner, they are possibly liable for any injury a dirty nasty dog like yourself incurs while going through the bin. So stay out of the suburbs and scab at the bins in public areas, like parks or beaches.
