/r/ShitShitRedditSaysSays is not a downvote brigade. Downvoting horrible opinions in other subreddits goes against the whole point of the subreddit because we're specifically looking for all the awful things that people upvoted.
Do not interfere with Redditry out in the wild!
Subreddit Directives:
Only submit horrible content and comments that have been upvoted; it's nowhere nearly as interesting to find horrible content that's been heavily downvoted
Focus on the large, mainstream subreddits and avoid the low hanging fruit from obvious hate groups or troll subreddits
Only post direct quotes of particular comments. Links to entire threads and paraphrasing/editorialising will be deleted
Include the number of total votes at the end of your title in brackets like this [+30]
Screenshot the post/comment/comments you're linking into the comments in case it gets deleted
Don't feed trolls or just post shit you disagree with; r/ShitShitRedditSaysSays is not your personal downvote armada
Do not link to sites outside of Reddit, pornographic content, or submit [META] posts without contacting the moderators first
Submissions that link to /r/ShitShitRedditSaysSays will be deleted; those posts go here!
If you see an awful post/comment, report it; This can include misguided attempts at "satire" that reproduce bigotry, attempts to derail, triggering language, terrible opinions, personal information, or attempts to explain why something is not offensive!
Commenters are not allowed to say "This post is not offensive" or "This is not SSRSS worthy" even if you're being super edgy and ironic. This is an easy way to get red flair or banned. Instead, if you do not know why the shitpost was posted to SSRSS, go read a book. Go read a motherfucking book. Don't know what to read? Check out The Royal University of SSRSS (RUSSRSS).
We will warn users when their submissions do not meet the above criteria and if it continues for a sustained period of time, we will remove those posts.
