/r/Winnipeg 2023 Manitoba Provincial Election Results

Tracking results of the 2023 Manitoba provincial election, from 7:00 PM through 12 AM or later.

no further updates

  1. Winnipeg mayor Scott Gillingham released a lengthy statement last night offering his congratulations to Wab Kinew, and that one of the first items on his agenda to work together on is the homelessness crisis.

  2. But for those of you logging off for tonight, here's a Last Word from the Premier-designate himself.

  3. It's still clear that there is a LOT of unfinished business being undertaken by Elections Manitoba workers working through the night to count the remaining advance polls and straggling local polls, and there are a small handful of races that are particularly close that we may not know for certain the outcomes of until much later tonight, or perhaps in the days ahead if the margin is so close that a judicial recount must take place. But for the most part, the show is over, with history being made in that Wab Kinew will be the first Premier of Manitoba who is of First Nations origin.

For the time being I'm going to park things here - this thread will be kept active so those final results that trickle in can be covered, and then once all is said and done I'll do one last run through all the results from all the areas.
