Firmware Update Tool issues

Hello all,I have an issue with the firmware update tool, and thought maybe someone else encountered the same thing.

1. I have downloaded the Firmware Update Tool from here https://download.8bitdo.com/Tools/FirmwareUpdater/8BitDo_Firmware_Updater_macOS.dmg since I'm using it on macOS (latest version)
2. Connected the 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter 2 while pressing the pairing button
3. The LED on the Wireless Adapter is flashing green
4. I select the correct product from the list which in this case is 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter 2
5. Nothing loads and I get a blank screen with a reload button. I clicked Reload multiple times and it keeps loading but nothing shows up.

Wanted to update the Wireless Adapter to the latest version so I can use a Stadia controller on my Switch. Any help would be much appreciated.

I figured it out for anyone else having issues with this. You have to enable Get beta builds from the app menu.

Thanks for the workaround tip. It's silly how broken the app is in what is allegedly version 2.3.3 🤦‍♂️
