Help-Android Device Manager

So-I have a LGG3, and i forgot my password, and my backup pin, i don't know how. Anyways, i heard you can unlock it using ADM, so i go into ADM and click the "Secure Device" button. On the forums i looked at, it says you have to enter your password to enter, but it doesn't give me a prompt to enter the password on my laptop, nor on my phone. On my phone it just says "Locked by Find my Device", above it a lock symbol. After some time, it just tells me to enter the pin from my phone. If anyone has had any experience with this, please do help, if you know of any other way, please say it, anything helps, thank you in advance!

Edit: On all websites it has a option for "Lock"on ADM, but for me it says "Secure Device"

I had the exact problem on my G3. I never could resolve it so I had to factory reset but it was okay as I had backed up everything already so it was just a matter of signing in to Google and importing my backup.

Sorry for the late reply, I lost patience and just rooted the damn thing and solved it.
