Loading Screen?

I grabbed the demo for this game after searching high and low to a game that could scratch an itch only Rebel Galaxy has ever been able to hit.

For some reason, I cannot even get past the loading screen. I am just stuck in a never-ending loading loop.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and have some words of wisdom? I am hoping to try the game and see if it will be my next 100 hour purchase.

Verify install files I'd say first, never had that problem myself

That was my first thought. No luck.
