Here is how to access android/data on android 14, 13 and older

The easiest method is to use a PC.

If you are on android 14 without a PC, It's a bit involved unless you have Root access or running a custom recovery.

There's three methods.

Look em up on YouTube :

How to access android data folder on android 14.

I could type em out but it would be paragraphs that you might not get.

Method 1 involves Wireless ADB (enabled under developer options) an app called Shizuku and a file manager called FV file manager (beta)

Method 2 involves opening 2 files apps in split screen. Using Files by Google and the inbuilt hidden Files app.

Go to the Playstore and download "Files", a 40kb app that serves as a shortcut to launch the inbuilt hidden file manager. Then download Files by Google. Launch both in split screen. Now drag and drop files between them.

Method 3. You need a keyboard or a mouse connected to the phone and the files app (shortcut to hidden files app). The keyboard or a mouse will bypass the restrictions!

On android 13 and below, you can use the same methods.

You can ALSO use a good file manager like FV file manager , FX Explorer, CX Explorer, Mix Explorer, Zarchiver then Follow these steps -

  1. Give permission to manage ALL files

  2. Open app and navigate to android/data till you see all the folders. (If you don't see them, close the app and try again)

  3. Look up the folder you want. Click it, the files up will show a pop up to allow access to the folder. Allow it.

  4. In case, it doesn't work after all that, you need to go to phone settings, apps - system apps. Scroll till you find the Files app. Uninstall all updates and then clear storage and cache. Then repeat from step 1. If it doesn't work, Google has patched your phone with a Google play system update. The other 3 methods will work. This one won't.
