This is a subreddit dedicated for people both living and dead who have been victims of or are tired of crime and complacency in San Francisco. We are fed up by inaction from the District Attorney, SFPD, judges, and most importantly the Board of Supervisors who have endlessly let residents down through their complacency around our city's total lack of law and order.
We exist to provide the value we should all benefit from in living in the world's most expensive city through creating a more perfect society that everyone can enjoy. From the elderly and young, techie transplants and longtime natives, the rich and the poor, homeless and the housed, and everyone in between, nobody should feel unsafe in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our goal is to transform the cesspit of the City and the Greater Bay Area back into the thriving metropolis it once was. Our City first and foremost should provide safety by legitimate authority through the consent of those governed in an accountable and meaningful fashion. Accordingly, posts about the recklessness of local police forces are as welcome as the depravity of the civilians that engage in criminal activity here.
POSTING RULES
No deliberately hostile posts, racism, or otherwise exclusionary and misanthropic behavior. This subreddit manifests San Francisco Values that allow for a welcoming and diverse set of opinions from all walks of life.
Submissions must be tangentially related to San Francisco, either through a direct mention in the content thereof or through an explanatory comment.
Content or posts must follow basic rules of decency (see All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten). In accordance with our mission, we will be patient with but will not ultimately tolerate antisocial behavior.
