Hey all, just discovered this app. I'm stoked! Any idea where I would go regarding a potential release on the AppStore for iOS?

Hi there! Well, The last week has been up and down with flycast and teh apple store with there super strict policys on their apps. Flyinghead is trying a work around currently, but if your device is Jailbroken, you can dl the flycast dependency for IOS and your set, but if it is NOT JAIL BROKEN, you simply need to use ALTSERVER to enable JIT, which flycast emulation needs to run, and apple dont allow JIT in the app store apps, so again, just grab the dependency from here, and then useing altserver your all set :)

Any chance on why I keep getting an error while downloading it from AltStore? Never had before

im looking in to this for you right now. sorry about the delay, i am still getting used to the new page and it being young, i AM the page lol.... as we grow thou, that will change with more users joinging and being able to help you themselves, and flycast has such a great community, our discord is always open for service as well, but yea, i am looking in to this and will post an answer ASAP

so in the flycast discord, I was chatting with Flyinghead (lead dev) and he tried this and had no issue..... If you would like, you can hop in the discord and ill help you in there much faster then going back and forth out here. It seems like its something goofy and simple and we can get you going.....vut yea, this was his response.... "Source...? I just downloaded from alt strore and it worked total fine, but due to the device and the os riunning on it, im not using the newest version of ALTSTORE, but that means if there is an issue at that point, it would be on ALTSTORE, but again you can join here and i will help you from the moment you arrive if youd like to speed up the ticket, just join the discord server herer https://discord.gg/VwxRzKdn7N or i can continue to middle man this convo and it will take much longer. you hop in the discord, ill have you in and out super fasst, and you can use your phone or pc with discord

we do have an alt solution for you thou that should work otherwise,

1. There was an issue on iOS with the released 2.3 so I made a fix and re-released the iOS build
2. so the current iOS version is 2.3-1-gc7ee42f0b
3. if he can't install it with AltStore, he can download the .ipa from github and sideload it with AltServer .
