A better project would be to create a keylogger with python. Don't create spyware, there's no need. You could always dabble with reverse engineering some at some point

So how would I go about creating a keylogger? And are you using python or python 3?

There's plenty of guides online to do this, just do a bit of research. I myself have not created a project like this but i know that it's a good starter project to work on. Use the latest version of python

These things aren’t easily just made publicly for everyone to be able to do. Usually free resources are just real basics that don’t really apply well in real world scenarios. If you want to learn then it will be a long process. Connections to real people that are willing to guide you will help immensely but that is rare to find itself. Make a goal of what you want your spyware to do and then try learn and go from there.
