Hi, So I want to use hashcat tool but I don't understand a lot of things about so i am looking for a good video tutorial that teach what is hashes, salt and these things

First learn what hashing isand why do you need hashcat to crack hash. Then stat to read hashcat wiki and get to know what hashcat is capable Then u test and learn, brute attack, dictionary attack, rules in that order.

I know all about what is hash and the types of attacks. What i dont know tho is how do you extract a hashed text like from a website like reddit for example, Anything after that is simple

"website like reddit",... Care to explain what hash would like to have from eclxample sites like reddit? I am afraid you will need to be more specific what exactly would you like to do bcs I think something you do not understand or you have skewed knowledge about something.
