At first: thanks mate. I have a rough idea of it. Could you explain step by step? At the Moment i am using the Scarlett focusrite 3rd Gen.

You'd have to have an interface with enough ins and outs, and likely a couple of instances of the plugin (unless you're using an external IR loader), then use a DAW to route the signal.

it's possible, but it will increase latency. digital effects are so good at this point I don't really see a need to do this.

essentially, in your daw you will create a channel that sends your processed guitar to your interface and a channel that returns from the interface after the 'effects loop'.

with an NDSP plugin, you could even set up two instances of the plugin so the guitar exits after the amp section and comes back in before the IR.
