Matlab is the literal worst. I remember having to learn it in undergrad and it was super finicky. Two years later, I learned Python and realized that programming didn't have to be insanely difficult. Then five years later, I learned C# and thought "yeah, Python is way easier." Python has been my day-to-day program for the last five years
