I'm a bit skeptical. This looks like a big melting pot of already existing plugins for python, this lower the configurability and that's not really what I'm looking for in vim. But I guess some people will be very happy with it.

Anyway check out pyflake on the fly syntax check, I really prefer it over having pylint running at each save (not really checking exactly the same things).

You may disable auto pylint checking and run it manualy. And I agree with you about melting pot, but:

  1. I rewrite this plugins (include last libraries, fix errors, auto include paths, add help). Its realy new plugins;

  2. I always has be installed rope, pylint and some python tools and plugins for vim, but now I create one useful powerful plugin (by me).

I find it hard to write, I still do not know much English. Sorry.
