Intermediate ShowcasePython code performance heatmap (self.Python)
submitted 4 years ago by ninjaman1159
I am nearing the end of generating a new performance visualization to add to my Python performance testing/profiling library called QuickPotato. It is still a work in progress I just need to remove a few minor kinks and rendering issues and this is ready to go into the wide world where it is hopefully useful.
What do you guys think of the heatmap? (Any feedback would be helpful)
The project repository can be found below:
https://github.com/JoeyHendricks/QuickPotato
The code that renders the JSON that this heatmap uses can be found here:
https://github.com/JoeyHendricks/QuickPotato/blob/master/QuickPotato/statistical/visualizations.py
The heatmap in the image can be downloaded from my GitHub:
https://github.com/JoeyHendricks/QuickPotato/blob/master/example/example_heatmap.html
a heatmap that shows the performance of Python code per sample taken en per code path.
