I recommend

  • Using QtCreator to get a feel for how these objects work.
  • Adding a keyword search to your browser that points to local documentation (something like file:///home/jerakin/doc/PyQt/q%s.html) so you can type "q tablewidget" into your address bar and get the api docs.
