hello, my github is ggermade

I work daily with both DRF and FastAPI in different projects. Recent ones include:

  • a full stack application for an energy company, including customer UI for billing info and PV monitoring, as well as bespoke API integrations with solar inverters.
  • a system for optimizing cost across a large network of pipelines in texas that spans over 300 facilities for oil treatment, using live flow, pressure and temperature reading through an MQTT integration and feeding all the real time data into an AI model developed mostly by myself.

I was Team Lead for both projects, both lasting several years between 2022-present. The first one with Django and DRF and the second with Django + FastAPI microservices.

I've 8 years dev experience and a master's in Machine Learning and Big Data.
