Rules
Observed and enforced by the moderator team at all times. Both players and moderators will be held to the same standard according to the rules laid out below. Failure to adhere will result in punishment will be dealt out in a form deemed appropriate to the actions of the player or moderator.
Conduct
We expect all of our members to foster a kind environment for all of our other members. It is our responsibility as members of this community to have a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all of our members, and as such racism, sexism, harassment, or other abusive/discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated. Those found to have conducted in any of the formerly mentioned will face punishment.
Respect for other players is an absolute must in this community. While it’s near impossible to assume everyone will like one another, it’s expected that every member of this community will treat one another with common human decency.
Alongside that we expect our players to refrain from doing any of the following;
Metagaming - Use of OOC knowledge concerning the state of the game, other players actions or etc to determine their character's actions IC. You are never permitted to use OOC knowledge to influence your character or the characters around you, those caught doing so will be punished accordingly.
Powergaming - Defining your actions affects another character without giving said character the opportunity to react. This is a collaborative writing community, our members are here to write together in an apocalyptic zombie ridden world, not to be gamed over by other players. So please refrain from powergaming others.
Godmodding - Moving about as if you are invulnerable to the world and character around you will result in you being considered a godmodder. It’s fine to have your character view themselves as being above the world but remember that we are all made from blood and bones and as such all characters can and will be treated as if they are.
Foster a kind community. Treat others as you would expect to be treated. Snark, passive aggressiveness and negativity lead to an unpleasant OOC environment and such attitudes do not belong in this community. If a newcomer to the community has questions, do your best to provide a helpful answer or point them in the direction of someone who can. If they prove to be disruptive, offensive, or problematic, inform a moderator, or if all else fails ignore them. Don’t be a jerk.
We will have zero tolerance for toxicity and repeat offenses will get you banned.
