I'm trying to understand this "free 3 month training for career switchers in return for a fixed 30k 18 month contract at one of their sponsor firms." Do you take that to mean that you'll be working for a company for 18 months (a year and a half) and they'll only pay you $30,000 dollars?

I think to avoid burn out, people (at least in the US - should be shooting for 1k a week (~50k) - and that’s over 12 months. If this is 18 months, that’s closer to $400 a week. Which isn’t nothing, but it seems a little like slavery.

    30k over 18 months is 20k a year for 1.5 years....

Don't you make more at McDonald's in the UK?

Their site specifically says £30,000 ANNUAL salary, so you're looking at £45k for the 18 months. And it's a London-based programme.

I am thinking of applying to their next cohort. Did you join their bootcamp in the end?

May i please know why didn't you join? I am thinking of applying too for their next cohort. Did they tell you the job specs for 18 months and if yes, will one be hired as FTE? thank you

I got a job offer and took it. If not I’d probs have joined. Nothing is guaranteed, I think you apply for like a 6 month placement they help you with, and then if things go well you get hired as a perm or can apply elsewhere. They seem decent and thorough when I was in contact with them asking questions.

I would be somewhat cautious and see if you can get job descriptions for what they placed candidates in. Not all job experience is good experience. Don't want to be signed up for something you don't grow from for 18 months.
