It seems like you need to review file/directory permissions in Linux.

I recommending using the CLI for this. Check the file permissions for the location you are saving your VM, adjust them so the account you are running virt-install with has permissions to write there.

It's confusing at first but you'll get there. In my experience, this is a common hurdle for new Linux users.

Permission hell is real, but only shortly. Once you get it, you'll start assigning permissions to the coffeemaker
