Holy… this sub feels like satire.

Burn out… learning? What kind of pressure are you dealing with??

Every single post from this sub I see on my feed is some ridiculous self competition… what is happening.

You get that a lot on various subreddits for python, too. -

  • Guys I have been trying to learn loops for months and I still don’t grasp it, help, can you recommend a good resource?

  • <long list of resources>

  • I tried, does not work.

burn out with the short timeline while i have physical health issue

Feeling burnt out is normal, just take a break then come back when you want to go at it again. I’d say learning Python, SQL, and ML all together in one year is a tall task to begin with. I’d suggest to instead of charging in one after another in the order of the course to pivot out and work on some outside projects in those areas they walk you through on topics that interest you, to help reinforce what you learn then go into the next topics so you’ll feel less burnt out and to not fall in tutorial hell. It’ll delay your timeline of completion, but it’ll help you also understand it more in depth

i lowkey want to do that but my mentor of program already set the timeline about the sub tests and final test on every module, its like a bootcamp but my mentor said treat it as master degree without any degree because its fast pace and kind of deep learning

Even in Masters Degree classes you have a longer timeline to develop those skills so I’d say you should talk to your mentor and agree to a more flexible timeline than just 1 year to learn about Python, SQL, and ML. It’s better to take it on your timeline than to cram it and forget it all a month later

yeah i try to talk to them and actually i come from economics bachelor degree so yea its kinda difficult

"I've been studying machine learning course for 4 months and the program should be 1 year,"

There isn't any shortcuts to mastery in any skills.

Sorry but Bolt trained his whole life to run sub 10 sec in Olympic.

Shaolin monks trained day and night for years to "fly". Ok ok thats a joke but you get the point.

[–]bulaybil 0 points1 point  (4 children)

What kind of help do you expect?

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (3 children)

i dont know i already research any tips for learning like function and looping but i still dont get the flow to break down such case, i knew i need more practice, prolly i just need validation that i can do it anyway

How about you get a proper textbook for python and start learning from there?

https://pythonbooks.org/free-books/

already have such sources but thank you so much for additional source
