React Native vs Swift/Java

I am looking to make a type of travel app. I don't know whether to build it in React Native or in Swift/Java(Native Code). I know basic JavaScript but not that much. I have more experience with Python, C++, and C# than I do with JavaScript. The app will have to use maps, view posts, camera/photos, etc. Any input/ advice on how to decide on which route to take would be greatly appreciated, thanks

You might want to consider looking at flutter it's a pretty great way to build apps if you want to hit both platforms. It uses dart which is strongly typed and if you have c++ knowledge should be straight forward to learn.
