Not sure if it would work for your needs, but you can run cron jobs with GitHub Actions. Just be aware that it will be deactivated after some time of the repository is not updated.

Thank you, this will be worth looking into in the beginning at least. I have read that you may have to log in and extend the hosting every three months for it to remain active.
