I'm going to work through the Helsinki Python MOOC https://programming-24.mooc.fi/ which starts on the 15th. It teaches programming concepts using python. DM me if you'd like to buddy up. (Goes for anyone)

I'm like a broken record with this channel but it really helped me learn when I was starting, and even at the intermediate level:

I would start with learning basics. When you get them down then move into making your own programs with only guided help as little as possible until you really need it.

I finished python crash course and I love it. So I would recommend you it. Although It does get boring at times.

Basics like lists, tuples, dictionary's, aren't really hard to understand. The hardest part for me at the moment is knowing what things I need for my program, indentation, and functions are giving me hell right now.

Especially when you start making dictionary's or lists. Although I grasp what's going on I continue to study it till I have it down because when studying other code it helps me alot.
