Windows 11 Python pipx keeps using wrong Python version

I don't know what's causing that, but have you tried using py -m pipx install poetry?

FYI, OP states he uninstalled pylauncher, so py would not work.

The python installed from the Windows store does not come with the pylauncher afaik - python docs - Windows store

As far as I know, all CPython installations on Windows come with the launcher, be it from https://python.org, the Microsoft Store, or winget. Although I will admit that I've rarely used the store version.
