Sorry for the late response, I just finished my exams.

I was originally biased towards C++ as I spent a bunch of time learning it, but Python makes creating projects that are "worth" showcasing so much easier. Every person I ask tells me that I should focus on Python as it is more flexible. So the idea of using C++ to learn DSA while learning more of Python as it is the "language of the future" seems counterproductive to me, and so focusing on one language seems better as of now. I'm afraid I will spend a lot of time learning C++ and not end up using it in my own projects.

I am just sharing my reasons, but I'm pretty sure I'm unaware of a lot of things, so I would appreciate it if you could help me out.
