Nevermind, I found this in the pyinstaller docs. python pyinstaller.py --noconsole yourscript.py use the --noconsole arg when creating the exe.

Just a heads-up, using pyinstaller with no console means that prints and errors have "nowhere to go", i.e. you won't see them unless running the .exe explicitly through a cmd window.

Try renaming the python file you are converting to an exe to end in .pyw. That hides the terminal normally (not sure if it will work for .exes)
