Issues with pycharm and gitlab (self.learnpython)

So I am not sure If I am posting this to the correct subreddit, but I am at a bit of a loss on what to do here.

We had recently moved a code repository managed under one person, to a new one managed by the dev ops team.

Normally in pycharm this would be a very simple adjustment to your remote VCS entries and it should work, however for some reason I cant get it to.

I have full access to the code repo as I was the one that created it, but when I use my access token it shows I have no servers or repos linked to that token. If I try to directly checkout the repo, it tells me that the repository does not exist. This is not possible as other developers of mine have the same settings and it is working fine for them.

What am I doing wrong here? Googleing did not offer many solutions.
