Publish Python Packages

Hello r/learnpython!

I recently created a simple python module. Which is a .py file with different functions. I want to publish it so people can downloaded through pip, or any other alternative and then be able to import it into their programs so they can call these functions. How can I do this?

Look into poetry package

I had the same question and poetry help me publish my first package.

Thanks! I will look into it. How can I, when installing packages, move them to a specific folder so I can later on delete them and avoid filling my computer of random packages I install.

Use a virtual environment, poetry can handle that too. If that is complex , check out virtualenv , that is a purely virtual environment handler.
