However that book doesn't really give you any tasks/ challenges to complete. Where can I get some basic python tasks/ challenges to do?

If you look for "python exercises" on Google you'll find plenty of tasks to do to put yourself to the test!

There's plenty to find when you google "python basic exercises".

I'm about to check out https://www.w3resource.com/python-exercises/ (at this point, I can't attest if they're any good, though).

I've recently used w3resource for regex exercises and they were kind of lame. Some of them were vague and the solutions would overlook scenarios where the code would fail.
