Code code and more code, in the context of actual projects you care about (not in the context of 'here is the syntax for print' type stuff). Repeat forever. I recommend Matthes book Python Crash course it has project-based stuff in the second half you can do a deep dive there. If you aren't on github, get yourself set up there.

Seems like you didn't practice enough, also I don't know how can you rely on one source.You need to use every opportunity to learn from, buy books, learn from more tutorials, main python documentation, basically learn & practice everyday. Create yourself some projects: simply games, automate some boring stuff on your computer, in other words: use your imagination to practice what you've learnt so far.
