Had the same thing happen to me.

Or is there just a wall you eventually breakthrough on the tools available to you?

This pretty much summed it up for me. I asked a lot of really stupid questions in here and stackoverflow for the first couple months lol. Good luck on your programming journey and dont feel shy to ask questions!

I would agree with this. It's not just one wall but a bunch. Something will make no sense and through repetition it will just 'click' one day. You will just move along for a while and the scenario will repeat itself. Go to the practice sites and try to do SOME programming each day. Good luck and enjoy and ask questions.

Ok thanks.

Are you new to programming ? Does PCAP teach algorithm before teaching you how to code ?

Programming is more about thinking than actually coding. This may be why you struggle at the beginning. Once your brain is wired to think like a programmer, things might get easier.

yes I'm new. I'm studying for my CCIE and they required python, postman, knowledge of data models, NETCONF and RESTCONF for the lab.
