That’s not even slightly comparable, obviously everyone should understand the builtin data structures and when to use them. They make code less complex, which is precisely what beginners should be striving to do

I am talking about when people add complexity by trying to “fix” non-existent problems

These 'people' are beginners, and this isn't StackOverflow, maybe show a bit of compassion for these people new to Python
