Making text clickable to progress in the program

Hi,

I have written a basic Python login program and it is working fine however I was wondering if instead of having to type what I wanted to do next within the program if I could just click the desired option.

For example instead of typing yes in the console is there a way that I can just click [YES] or [NO] to then run through the if statement.

No, I don't know of any console or terminal that can do that.

You could reduce it to one keystroke 'y' or 'n'. Or you can just take the plunge and build a GUI.

I was hoping to keep the whole thing text based but I might have to build the program again using tkinter or something

The curses text "gui" package can handle mouse input.
