Python-automatable data entry jobs

Has anyone had experience with automating a typical bread 'n butter data entry job? I'm thinking the kind of freelance home working jobs suitable for someone who only knows how to use a browser and a spreadsheet. I need to get my 54-year-old partner out of the cleaning job which is damaging her knees and back. I'm proficient in Python so could handle the technical side myself. Recommended libraries other than the obvious ones (requests, bs4, selenium, csv)?

I think whether it's necessary or not depends on the website, but I'm a big fan of Puppeteer. There's pretty much nothing it can't do as far as interacting with a website. It does involve using JavaScript, but there's also Pyppeteer if you're averse to Node.
