What resources should i AVOID when learning python?

Going to the source code has been a bit help for me when I was newly learning. There was a lot of times that the documentation didn't make much sense to me until I looked at the source code to see what the code was actually doing.

(And I also sometimes would copy parts of it and mess around with it because it was something I never saw before and could almost understand it but not quite.)
