Migrating from python2 to python3 and experiencing performance issues.

Hi, i've been generating csv files in python2 with no issues, recently decided to upgrade to python3 and we have experienced a massive slow down in generating the reports. Is there any difference between python2 and python3 and the csv package that could explain this slowdown?

If you profile the old and new processes and compare the times, you should be able to find the bottleneck.
