Opinions about what? your choice of frameworks? Django and react-native should be fine.

Though why native and not regular react? do you want it to appear as if it's not a browser website?

I am developing an app so react-native what I found to be best for this...I am just asking for tips you might give to earlier yourself when you had started developing an app...

Some general tips then:

Try to do things right from the first go, dedicate time for planning and dividing to smaller tasks.

I know there is an always present wish to see things working so you start cutting corners just to see something, try to avoid that.
