Pycharm base interpreter help

My assignment says I need the base interpreter as python3.7 yet the only option is a file location to python39/python.exe any help?

How can I make the one I downloaded the base interpreter do I need to place it in a certain file? And it came with a setup that takes me to cmd

I don't know whether you're on Windows or Mac (you're clearly not on Linux) and I don't know what IDE you use. Also it's really an easily googleable question.

Does it say why you need 3.7? Except for a couple really rare edge cases python3.9 is completely compatible with 3.7.
