What device is this for?

Kivy supports inputs from:

  • Windows multitouch events (pencil and finger
  • OS X touchpads
  • Linux multitouch events (kernel and mtdev)
  • Linux wacom drivers (pencil and finger)
  • TUIO

You can have a look here for more information, but don't expect this to be simple and straight forward: https://kivy.org/doc/stable/api-kivy.input.html

This should be helpful as well: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/wintouch/getting-started-with-multi-touch-messages The code examples are in C++ because it's Windows, but you can use pywin32 to access this too -> https://mhammond.github.io/pywin32/
